Inside RE-DONE: A Fashion Competition
RE-DONE challenges fashion designers to create something new from what already exists.
Selected designers are given pre-existing garments that may have been discarded or overlooked and asked to transform them into original, ready-to-wear looks. Across two live, eight-hour working days, the audience gets an inside look at the creative process from deconstruction and experimentation to the final fitting.
The completed looks are then presented at the Grand Finale Runway Show, where the audience votes to determine the winner.
The winning designer receives a $1,000 CAD grand prize, offering both financial support and recognition for their work. More importantly, RE-DONE creates space for emerging designers to experiment, gain exposure, and show how thoughtful design can extend the life of clothing.
Less waste. More creativity.
RE-DONE Season IV returns this October.
